Bezesporu jeden z nejtalentovanějších a nejoriginálnějších milníků extrémní scény převrací tóniny už od roku 1993, kdy mladý multiinstrumentalista Lille založil kapelu se svým otcem Wolfgangem. Od té doby prošli DEFEATED SANITY mnoha náročnými operacemi, ať už jde o žánrové posuny nebo personální otřesy. Dodnes tahle parta maníků nemilosrdně posouvá a převrací hranice svých i žánrových možností a nastavuje stále vyšší a vyšší laťky.
Není to tak dávno, co se parta dostala do škatulky „mezinárodní“ a nová krev je opět kvalitní transfuzí. Důkazem těchto slov je nové album "Chronicles of Lunacy" vydané pod hlavičkou Season of Mist, na které jsou kluci nesmírně hrdí. Na jeho záseky se musíte naživo mrknout na prknech našeho pódia, jehož otřesy zanechávají trvalé následky! Povinnost pro brutalisty, výzva pro nezaujaté!!!

Having almost 30 years of band history since their debut demo "Devoured By The Black" crafted by original members, father and son Wolfgang Teske and Lille Gruber, DEFEATED SANITY have gone on to become one of the most revered, consistent and influential bands in the world of Brutal Death Metal.
Having spent some time on UK label Grindethic Records, where the band released the albums "Prelude to the Tragedy" and "Psalms Of The Moribund", Defeated Sanity now reside with US label Willowtip Records, with whom they have released three critically acclaimed albums to date, namely "Chapters Of Repugnance", "Passages Into Deformity", and their latest split- concept album "Disposal of the Dead/Dharmata" showcasing the band's musicianship and diversity with half of the release written in the style of Progressive Death Metal featuring vocalist Max Phelps (Cynic, Death To All), and the other half in the style of true Brutal Death Metal.
Their 6th full length output "The Sanguinary Impetus" earned a spot in the Billboard charts, landing at #89 of Billboard's "Current Album Sales" in its first week of release.
With newest member guitarist Vaughn Stoffey the band then embarked on an extensive touring schedule spanning six continents over the following.
In 2023 Defeated Sanity signed with Season of Mist records while working on their newest album release “Chronicles of Lunacy” which is due out on November 22nd 2024.
