Last year we performed with SODOM at OEF for the first time. And what can we say? That was a great and pure fucking metal experience. The atmosphere was awesome, the whole organization was professional and familiar. We enjoyed every minute. The crowd was amazing. We never saw so many enthusiastic and authentic headbangers like these before at any gigs in Europe. It was like travelling in a time machine... Going back to the gloryful 80s. Hope we will return. It would be a great honour to us, because you guys know exactly how to celebrate real heavy metal and that is the reason we are living for. See ya soon!!!

As the Czech beer is one of the best in the world, we were really looking forward to playing at the Obscene Extreme Festival for the very first time. Of course, we heard about the crazy fans of this brutal festival before. But our expectations were more than fulfilled after our first experience! We have never seen crazy metalheads with that kind of totally freak out outfits, unbelievable! The most impressive thing I can remember was the organized dancing on stage, not crossing the line at one time! One of the funniest things we ever saw at a festival or club show. As I am a big collector of metal CDs, I love the sampler of bands joining the festival, great idea! Hopefully our story with Obscene Extreme is not over yet and we can come back one day! Cheers!

I've been playing underground music for over 30 years and OEF is not only one of the best shows I've ever played, but the best fest I've ever attended. Totally DIY, but well run, and with that many fucking crazed people, I couldn't believe there were no problems. None. Everyone got along and had fun. No tough guy attitudes, no bullshit. Just thousands of people having an insanely great time together. Camping, drinking, partying, stage diving in chicken suits. I've never been to another gathering where I connected with so many like-minded folks from all over the world. Seriously... from EVERY corner of the globe! My only regret is I'm not in enough other bands to get invited back every year.

When I hear the words Obscene Extreme, I envision great friends, great beer, fun and decadence in the beautiful Czech countryside. OEF 2019 was one of the funnest crowds we've ever played for. Everyone was having a great time and I didn't see a single fight. Just good vibes, all around. Due to various obstacles, it took REPULSION way too long to finally make it to OEF. We had heard how great it was for many years and to finally make it there was like a major achievement to check off the bucket list. Čurby is the most dedicated and personable festival organizer in the scene and it was an honor to finally be able to play for the OEF crowd. Can't wait to do it again!

Playing at the OEF the first time in 2006 was definitely a new, wild and great experience for DISMEMBER. Working with Čurby and the whole staff of the OEF from then on made friendships for life. It's not just a business or even just a scene thing, it's a metal family for life thing. Being asked to come back in 2022 was a no-brainer and half of the band stayed the whole weekend after we played to make sure we could enjoy the entire OEF experience. OEF is such a fun, unique festival experience and cannot be described, you just gotta go there and see for yourself. Hopefully we will see you there again in the not too distant future!!!

Grindcore, crust, death metal, hardcore, lots of beer and weed, seeing a lot of my good friends, hanging out with fans taking pictures, langoshe, and most of all...Čurby!! OEF is the perfect extreme party. It has the best atmosphere, the coolest staff, the best bands (even though there should be black metal too haha) and I always have an amazing fucking time there whether I'm performing or not. Čurby and the OEF crew deserve much praise for making it happen year after year. Of course, I have a good OEF story! OEF 2014 was the last ever BRUTAL TRUTH European show! What a perfect way to end it! And I also had a slightly early 50th birthday party during BT's set with a giant banner that Čurby made in my honor! It was a very emotional time for sure. The atmosphere during our set was very special, and I will never forget it. Thanks guys!!! You're the fucking best!!!

I had one of the overall best experiences in my entire career performing at OEF. It was an absolute pleasure and I am so greatly grateful for the opportunity to have played at such an amazing event! I can't thank Čurby and his fantastic wonderful team and staff enough for making us feel absolutely welcomed and appreciated. And the fans were some of the best and most incredible people I've ever seen and had the pleasure of meeting and performing for - ever! There will always be a special place in my memory for the experience of being a part of this monumental event. It was an amazing experience and I hope to maybe revisit this again in the future, but if not, I am proud to say I had the chance to do it!

OEF is one of the best festivals in the world. We are proud that we took part in it! We enjoyed playing our music, and at the same time we enjoyed the festival also among the audience. Music, people, land, food, pivo... Everything was fun and we saw many smiles on everybody's faces there, and smiles on our faces all the time, too. We feel happy that we can live in the same era as OEF. If you like loud music or if you are interested in loud music, you need to visit OEF at least once in your life!

OEF is the most crazy music festival that I've seen in life no doubt! Mosh till you get your cock hard! Hop on to the stage and make a fatal dive! Guys with their legs cut in half moshing from the stage! You ask about clothing etiquette? Do not worry, clothing is optional at OEF for the musicians, fans and metalheads!
